Virtual India fest Cultural Programs

IAKC Invites all participants, teachers, choreographers, parents to be a part of this highly anticipated event of Kansas/Missouri. Each year we get to see great variety of Classical, semi Classical and Contemporary dance and cannot wait to see what we will have this year.

Cultural Program

Rules
    • Categories – Dance and Song.
    • Recommended length of group Dance performance must Not exceed 4 minutes and solo performance – 3 minutes.
    • Recommended length of Song solo or group performance – 3 minutes.
    • Minimum age for solo performance is 10 years and 7 years for group performance.
    • Video must be recorded and send to IAKC team before 31st July 2020 and must follow guidelines. 

Fashion Show

Rules
    • Theme for this years Fashion show is “Festivals with Family“
    • Registered family must be dressed in traditional outfit. They can select the festivals of their choice, must be confirmed with IAKC team.
    • Recorded video of individual family (all members) must not exceed 60 seconds.
    • All recording will be edited and compiled in one video and order of the participants appearance in video will be decided by IAKC team.
    • Final decision about including video for fashion show will stay with IAKC team
    • Video must be recorded and send to IAKC team before 31st July 2020 and must follow guidelines.

Rangoli Competition

Rules
  • Registered participants will record video of making rangoli and send it to IAKC before 31st July 2020
  • Rangoli size must not exceed 4X4 sheet
  • Rangoli theme of the year is “Faith, Fairs and Festival of India“
  • One entry per person. Only one helper is allowded for the individual competition
  • Only rangoli colors must be used, no accessories like flowers or candle or diya’s are allowed
  • Video from start to end must be clear and must NOT be edited
  • Pictures of completed rangolis will be used for voting purpose
  • IAKC will be having full rights to terminate registration if process and rules are not followed
  • Winners will be announced based on voting done by viewers during Virtual fest
